Voting Receiver

Here is the progress to date:

June 2008 -
Fred and I designed the concept details needed to implement a voting receiver in Lodi

July 2008 -
I started the long task of collecting the parts needed to do this project.

August 2008 -
Here is the list so far:
3 Micor Spectra TAC voting receivers
1 Micor Spectra TAC comparator
1 VHF Maxtrac receiver programmed to 147.69 mhz, pl 114.8 hz
1 Maxtrac 900 transmitter converted to the amateur bands
1 Maxtrac 900 repeater and matching PA
2 Astron 10 power supplies

September 2008 -
I have sucessfully integrated the VHF Maxtrac receiver to the 900 Maxtrac transmitter and set the audio levels.
I have sucessfully integrated the Specra TAC reciever housing to the Maxtrac 900 repeater reciever
I have sucessfully integrated the Spectra TAC comparator to the simulated VHF repeater transmitter in my lab.
I have sucessfully integrated the spare VHF Micor reciever into the Spectra TAC receiver housing

I have tested the parts in my lab, and have found everything to function properly
I am waiting for a planned trip to the Lodi Memorial Hospital to see the radio room for installation guides

October 2008 -
Waiting to get authorization to put the comparator on the hill. I have approval now for the LMH site.

November 2008 -
After 30 years Fred has decided to upgrade the 147.09 repeater system. We will be putting in new radios for VHF and UHF, some redesign will be needed. This is going to delay our project until after the first of the year.
